Thank you, to those who came to Mezzrow in the Village on Saturday for my Solo Concert/Master Class: The Art of Developing a Solo - The Music of Lyle Mays w/ the Pat Metheny Group! We had a BALL!

Mezzrow is the Cat's Meow, it's the greatest jazz piano club in the world. The ambience is perfect, the Steinway is marvelous, and you can hear the A train rumble underneath you every so often) I had a chance to do a short interview with Spike Wilner after the class, he hipped us to who Mezz Mezzrow was and introduced us to the fantastic scene he has created for our enjoyment. Jazz hasn't been happening in NYC like this since Bird,Diz,Trane, Bud and Lennie were leaving their mark on the Apple. Take advantage of the scene and let's all help make it cook!

The concert and class will be up on YT and on the master class archive at www.davefrankjazz.com within a couple of days.

Blessings and keep swingin!
