Hello from San Diego

Dave you have been such a source of inspiration - a truly great and generous teacher.

I am looking forward to some private lessons to get some
pointers. I would say I am an advanced beginner, with weak reading skills but a lot of harmonic knowledge.

I am a BIG Bill Evans and Monk fan, but love so many it's hard to single it down to just a couple names. Love Mulgrew Miller, Sonny Clark, Wynton K., Duke Ellington, etc etc.

My wish is to become more fluid and melodic and improve my right hand.

Hiya Dave!

Yes, indeed! It is me, Dave from SD, and we had our chat just last week.

The two JOI books arrived a few days ago and I am digging them immensely - working on the first lesson with Autumn Leaves and can really see how well conceived your lessons and exercises are.

Looking forward to July 20th for our 2nd Skype lesson. Cheers and thanks
