Hi there just wanted to stop by and thank you for these vids - very useful indeed

Having worked through them I now realise that where I was going wrong (apart from a general lack of talent) is that I had been trying to do things at too high a tempo.

Starting at 66 (as you recommend) has made a huge difference and allowed my brain and hands to absorb what is actually happening and given me the space to do triplets etc without tripping over myself trying to keep up at full speed. Notching it up by 10 bpm each session and all starting to come together :)

that's great Stu! Please keep coughing and hinting about pts 3+4) My next planned classes will be Lyle Mays (pianist with Pat Metheny Band) and hopefully a live class interview with the GREAT Pat Martino..
